SSD Not accessible, "Dynamic Disk Import Failed"

This is an expansion of my last post, as nobody followed up on it.

My (F:) drive doesn't show up in file explorer. I've tried different Sata ports and and the result is the same. Diskpart recognizes the disk and lists only "Import Failed". On the GUI it shows:

This disk was never a dynamic disk, it has always been set to basic.

Device manager shows the device is functioning properly

I've tried updating drivers and using the sandisk ssd dashboard but there is nothing I can seem to do other than offlining the drive, which seems to have no effect. My only other option would be to convert the disk to a basic disk, which would reformat the drive, and I want to keep the data on it.

Are there any other steps I can try?

I have gone further and downloaded DMDE as somebody suggested on my last post, and I am unfamiliar with the tool. Running a full scan shows the following partitions on the drive I want.

The next window shows all of my files in read-only mode. This makes me think that there is a way to just modify what format everything is and the computer will be able to read it, no issues.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark.

    Hi,

My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.

LDM (42) file system means the disk is dynamic. Sorry, it is not possible to explain what happened with the drive in past and why disk is marked as dynamic now.

If you see all files and can copy them to another drive, the fastest solution will be to copy files. delete all partitions, re-partition and re-format drive and return data to drive. You may use DMDE for copying.

Or you may ask a help at hard drives dedicated forum in attempt to convert a drive from dynamic to basic. Sorry, some special knowledge is needed in this case.
