RunDLL error, specific module could not be found

Hello,

I got an error message for RunDLL

"There was a problem starting C;\Program Files\HP\HP ENVY5530 series\bin\HPStatusBL.dll"

"The specific module could not be found"

My previous laptop was an HP ENVY.

But now I am using a Razer Blade 15 Base model (2019)

I'm confused why this error shows up even when I am not using any HP program.

    Open File Explorer

In the address bar paste this and click OK

    shell:startup

In the folder do you find HP Status Alerts, if so, delete that

If that was not in that folder, in the address bar paste this and click OK

    shell:common startup

In the folder do you find HP Status Alerts, if so, delete that

That should remove that error for you . .

    Hello Erita_Mkawa,
I am Jaspreet Singh an independent advisor.
The dll missing file is for hp printer driver not for any laptop driver.
If you use hp printer reinstall its driver from hp's website. If you no longer use the printer you can safely remove the folder listed in the error. That will remove this issue.
