Recovery

Your PC/Device needs to be repaired The operating system couldn't be loaded because a critical system driver is missing or contains errors.

File:\Windows\System32\drivers\sacdrv.sys

Error code: 0xc0000221

You'll need to use recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your PC administrator or PC/Device manufacturer.

What do i do?

Finding any microsoft contacts is has been a quest by itself. Every time i try to enter safe mode i get a blue screen. I read online about something about command prompt, the thing is i can't get to it because everytime i try to enter safe mode i get a blue screen. I tried to use the startup settings but using any of the nine choices just restarted the system.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi guledyusuf1,

Thanks for bringing your concern up here at Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you are encountering blue screens with an error code: 0xc0000221 caused by hard driver.

It is recommended to enter Win RE mode and repair your system by USB installation media first.

    1. Prepare an empty U disk with at least 8G space, make a system installation medium, and boot into the system installation interface. Click hereto download the system image.
    2. Click Next > Click to select Repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    3. Now we will enter into Win RE mode, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Boot Repair.

If the problem is still there, it will be necessary to reinstall your Windows 10.

Keep me updated how it goes.

    Best Regards,
