File Explorer crashes when I right click

Hello,

Everytime I rightclick a document in the File Explorer is crashes the program and soft resets my laptop. Its fine when I click a file.
I have had this for a while now, even before Windows 11 was out and, as fa as I know, it isn't because of a virus. I haven't downloaded a sketchy file or opened a suspicious link.

I also can't lock any files, eventho I am the administrator, so maybe they are related?

Does anybody know why or have a solution?

With kind Regards,
Bram

    Good Day BramBennink,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 11 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

-Click Start type Task Manager and open it

    -Click on Processes Tab

    -Look for Windows Explorer

    -Right click and hit Restart

-Click Start type Powershell and run as administrator

-Copy and paste the command below and hit Enter

    Get-AppxPackage *windows.immersivecontrolpanel* | Reset-AppxPackage

Once done restart your computer and check.

If issue persists check for updates and install any updates available to keep your device up to date.

Once all the updates are installed restart and check.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
