I got Windows 11 today and for some reason it's a weird hybrid of 10 and 11, it has the Windows 11 taskbar, start menu, search, icons and widgets, it even says its Windows 11 in WinVer. But settings, file explorer, notifications, calander are still the Windows 10 design. What's happening?

Hello, I'm A&K. I'm glad to be able to help you.

It looks like there was a problem during the upgrade process. It might be helpful to perform an overlay installation. Please go to: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win... Download the image of Windows 11, double-click the mount after the download is complete, run the setup .exe, and select "Upgrade this computer".

This will not affect your current system configuration and data, but if you decide to do so, it is advisable to back up important files anyway.
