I live in New Zealand and when I start windows 11 at the bottom of the start screen it says something like Christmas Day is tomorrow the 25th in England. Why do I want to know this when I live in New Zealand. Thank You.

Hi MO. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

I think it's just another one of the fun facts that are set to accompany and graffiti the spectacular Windows Spotlight images on your lock screen. To turn off Fun Facts in Windows 11 follow this guide:

    https://www.howtogeek.com/755257/how-to-disable...

Once you turn them off by necessarily switching to Picture or Slideshow option so they show up to disable, you can see if you can switch back to Windows Spotlight without them, which works in WIndows 10 but may have been disabled in Windows 11.

Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.
