I clearly have Windows 10 Enterprise loaded on my PC. Winver verifies that ... but I cannot activate - I have the product key # in a file on my computer and yet error message says it is not authentic. Even in my Microsoft acct it shows that I have Windows Enterprise. The main reason I want to activate is so I can use remote desktop... Any thoughts comments suggestions? Thanks so much.

I think I figured out what’s wrong. I can tell by the partial key that I have the full key but it appears because my previous version of windows was not activated before windows 10 was installed I can’t activate this version of windows enterprise. I’m not sure what I do from here other than contact my computer shop that loaded windows 10 enterprise onto my computer and see what they can do to help. Thank you

Windows Enterprise is never sold to individuals. Press the Windows key + r, then enter slmgr.vbs /dli and press Enter. Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box here. Mind the space between "vbs" and the slash.
