Changing Windows 11 interface

After using Windows 11 for a couple of weeks I found I really don't like the interface at all. Many things that used to be point-and-click now require

typing into some dialog box. I found several articles regarding how to configure Windows 11 to look more like Windows 10.

They also show how to make the user interface more like Windows 10.

I'm wondering about whether this is going to invalidate anything regarding Windows support or end user agreement?

One involves entering a new key value in the registry.

Any opinions or experiences regarding this would be really neat!

Thanks, Dan

    Hi Dan,

My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.

You may add keys to a registry, you may use third party DLL files to change interface. But you cannot modify Windows's DLL, EXE, SYS and so on files.

Most of that is OK. Windows 11 provides a setting to move the Start menu to the left so no registry hack is needed there.

You can change the file explorer ribbon at the top back to the Windows 10 style in the registry.

What more are you trying to change? Just go back to Windows 10.
