PROBLEM AFTER WINDOWS UPDATE

Hello guys, I have installed new update of version of windows 10 via Windows Update. After i restarted my PC to install update it doesn't start up to the log on page, after the windows logo displays, it gets to a blank screen and intermittently displays a light blue (windows colored-like) screen. mouse pointer displays and moves and when i click the curser turns into the circle loading curser but then that is all to it

from blank screen to the light blue screen as described above and then the cursor that is all that happens, screen switches from blank to the light blue (like some kind of loop)

lights and everything on the keyboard shows it's working but i can't get the log on page. i use my finger print scanner as a sign in option and it give the light signal on the scanner showing verified, (which means i should get the welcome page and then my desktop screen but i don't)

    Hi Dyari,

Thanks for your Assistance, was really helpful

I forced the computer to shut down as suggested and i got to the start up repair. From there i was able to uninstall any recent windows feature updates made to the pc and now my problem has been resolved.

    Hi EnochAddo,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Kindly try the following methods to fix the issue:

1-Force the computer to shut down 2 times until you get windows Troubleshooting > Advanced Options:

    A-Startup repair.

B-If you have a system restore point, perform a system restore.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/rec...

C-If you installed any updates recently, uninstall it

D-Click on Command Prompt > Type this command and hit enter:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:

    sfc /scannow

    Also try boot repair commands:

    bootrec /scanos

    bootrec /fixmbr

    bootrec /fixboot

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

2-If it did not help, start your computer in Safe Mode:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sta...

if you could log in with Safe Mode, open CMD as administrator > Type these commands and hit enter:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:

    sfc /scannow

Then, restart your computer and check to see if the issue has been fixed or not.

3-If it did not help, create a bootable USB of Windows 10 and boot your computer with the USB:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cre...

On the installation window, click on repair and try the options provided in step 1.

After that, check if it fixed the issue or not.

4-If the issue is still unfixed, perform a clean install:

Be noted that you have to install the same Windows edition that was running on your computer in order not to face Windows activate issues.

If you have important data, try to rescue them:

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.

    Stay safe
