Licensing requirements

I want to understand from you the licensing cost to avoid any legal issues.

I have to develop an Asp.net core website with SQL as backend. This website will be sold to my client and deployed on his office PC.

I want to keep costs to minimum.

Tools I'm thinking:

  • On my development PC: VS2019 Community edition and SQL 2019 Developer edition.
  • On deployment PC: IIS and SQL 2019 Express.

This way we can use free versions and still abide by your licensing terms. Is my understanding correct?

Thanks.

Tom's advice is absolutely right no the money. This is not the place for authoritative answers about licensing.

However, this question is simple enough that I as a layman dare to answer: Yes, you are good. Express Edition is licensed for production. (And IIS is part of the OS, isn't it?)
