Hi,
We're planning to migrate mailbox users from Exchange 2016 to O365 (hybrid) with ADFS. Someone tells us that we have to buy core cal bridge. However, we're not sure what is a core cal bridge and why we have to buy core cal bridge while we already buy Office 365 E1 and Office 365 E3.

Could someone help me to answer my question?

Thank a lot.

Regards,
Giap.

    Thank you, David,
I'm working with third party seller, they said that we have to buy it. Because, at on-premise side, we're still using other services, or application such us File Server, SCCM,... so for all users is migrated to O365, they still need Core CAL Bridge to work with those applications at on-premise.

(My company has 300 users. We will only move 100 users to O365 to use email, team,....)

    Who told you that?
You only need that if you require it:

No one here can answer if you need this however, you need to talk to Microsoft Licensing Rep or a third party reseller.
