Data transfer error

Hi,

My Seagate portable HDD is showing “disk write protected” errors when copying files or installing games via Steam. I’ve already:

• Disabled Seagate Secure and encryption
• Reformatted the drive (tried exFAT and NTFS)
• Confirmed full control permissions in Security settings.

The drive works for reading files but fails for write operations.

Can you help me in this situation.

Connect that drive up to another PC to check if you can move files to that drive on that PC.

Download the widely available free CrystalDiskInfo utility, please provide a screenshot of what that utility indicates for that drive.
