Help with windows security

Hello i leave my windows to see some tv shows and when i get back i found it open excel word office and media player and when i close it after couple of minutes it reopen them inow i closed me wifi and run a virus scan on c drive or does it related to the disk issue?

If you have run a full scan on your system and no malware was found, and those apps have been removed from the startup process, then there is no problem indicated on your system, it is a mystery how those apps would have started on their own, but that should not happen again.

Click your Start Button, then just type sysdm.cpl and press Enter.

On the resulting utility, select the Remote tab, if any of the options on that tab are enabled, disable them to add another layer of security to your system.

If you are sure no-one was actually using your PC while you were away from the PC, this is very unusual, but also not usually an indication of malware on your PC.

If you restart (not shut down) your PC, do those apps also automatically re-open after Windows starts up.
