Cannot create Data Product in Purview

Hi everyone.

I am facing a weird issue and I don't know whether this is a bug or a known issue. I have checked from Microsoft Purview Data governance known issues and I believe it is not there.

The issue happens when I am trying to create a new Data Product under Unified Catalog > Catalog Management > Data Products. I have the role as a Data Product Owner.

After filling in the basic details in the New data product window, I proceeded to the business details section by clicking Next.

User's image In the next section, after I have picked the correct Governance domain and filling in the use cases, I suppose there should be a Create button as mentioned in the Create and manage data products page. However there is only a Next button.

User's image Then, clicking the next button will just bring me back to the basic details section (just like in the first screenshot), and the loop is just happening like that. I cannot create the data product.

I have also tried changing the name with other variations (in case the duplication check fails), tried revoking and granting the Data Product Owner role for me and also tried via private mode browser but the issue still remains. I hope there could be some suggestions or workaround to overcome this issue.

Thank you.

"I have tried again this morning (my local time) and now, the window for 'New data product' has three sections, including a Custom attributes section after I clicked Next in the Business details step. In this new section, the Create button appeared and I was able to successfully create the data product. It seems the issue may have been resolved automatically - possibly due to a backend update by Microsoft around the time of the incident."

Perhaps the system has been fixed on its own somehow or there was an ongoing update by Microsoft when the issue occurred to me.
