You are regular user on your PC, not Administrator. "Elevation" means that user with Administrator privileges needs to login to confirm. Who installed your computer? There have to be Administrator account on your PC.

Windows 11 is requiring a login to install new programs on my new PC but will not accept my login or password, telling me "the requested operation requires elevation". Can anyone help please?
