Dear Support Team,

We are currently experiencing an issue with our Copilot agent deployment in Microsoft Teams. The agent is running successfully in Copilot Studio, but it becomes completely non-responsive when deployed in Teams.

Here are the details of the issue:

  1. The agent works fine in Copilot Studio.
  2. When deployed in Microsoft Teams, the chat functionality is non-responsive.
  3. Publishing works fine.
  4. Updating Agent fails with "Sorry, something goes wrong" message.

We have also tried using Developer Tools in the web version of Teams to check for errors, but we have not been able to resolve the issue.

Could you please assist us in troubleshooting this problem?

Thank you for your support.

    Hi Pacha,

If your Copilot agent works correctly in Copilot Studio but becomes non-responsive in Microsoft Teams, the issue is usually related to publishing, channel configuration, or Teams app policies rather than the agent logic itself. First, confirm that your agent is fully published in Copilot Studio and that the status shows as Published (Publish and share agents). Next, go to Channels → Microsoft Teams in Copilot Studio and verify that the Teams channel is properly enabled and configured (Connect channels in Copilot Studio).

On the Teams side, make sure your organization’s Teams admin policies allow custom apps and that your Copilot agent isn’t being blocked (Manage app permission and setup policies in Teams). If users see “App not found” or the bot won’t respond, try removing and reinstalling it using the direct Teams install link from the publish tab (Upload a custom app in Teams). Clearing the Teams cache or testing in the Teams web client can also rule out local client sync issues.

If the issue persists, republish with a clean deployment (remove the Teams channel in Copilot Studio, re-add it, then republish), and check your agent’s system topics (Greeting, Fallback) and any linked Power Automate flows to ensure they’re not failing. For deeper troubleshooting, you can also review errors in Teams Developer Tools (authentication, bot registration, or API call failures) or check the Power Platform Admin Center for environment or licensing issues (Monitor environments in Power Platform Admin Center).

In most cases, republishing with a fresh Teams channel configuration and verifying Teams admin policies resolves the problem. If it still fails, gather the agent ID, error logs, and screenshots, and raise a support ticket with Microsoft for further investigation.
