Problems with settings

I'm not quite sure how to begin. I tried to make a few adjustments in settings to text size and a few other things. Firefox is my default browser and whenever I open the browser the previous tabs/windows that I viewed come up and I can't seem to make it stop. Also, I apparently did something with the scale and layout and I can't reverse it. the apps on the desktop shrunk. It's just a total mess. I have had this laptop since April of this year. Is it possible for me to re-install windows to reset everything? HELP!

Hi, good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

Yes, it's possible, but I recommend first trying to do a System Restore to an earlier date where everything was still working.

Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: rstrui.exe

Press Enter. This will open System Restore

    Click the Next button.

Select the restore point at an earlier date where everything is still working.

    Click Next then Finish

If this does not work, you may need to consider doing a Reset this PC with Keep my files option.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed.

    Kind regards,
