I can't connect my PC to the internet via the LAN Cable because the drivers and the network adapter are missing. The light on the LAN port isn't lit up, but the cable is working fine. I can't find the ethernet in either the Device Manager or the network connections. I've tried installing the drivers from ASUS, but it hasn't worked it gives me the following error (The Realtek Network Controller was not found if Deep Sleep Mode is enabled please plug the cable). And its not hidden in device manager, i might've uninstalled it before. Its been like this for the past couple of months. I have tried multiple solutions online non worked any help would be appreciated.
My motherboard is: TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI)

Hi, I am an Independent Advisor.

Let me help you with this issue.

I understand your Ethernet adapter is missing.

Have you tried performing a hard reset?

Power off the PC normally, and then follow the steps below.

Once the machine is powered off, unplug the computer's power cable from the rear. To use up any leftover power, press and hold the power button for 15 to 30 seconds. Wait a minute or two, then reconnect the power cable and restart the computer.

The BIOS may have disabled the onboard LAN.

To access BIOS, restart your computer and press Del or F2.

Go to Advanced > Configuration of Onboard Devices.

    Look for something similar to:

Onboard LAN or Realtek LAN Controller

    Verify that it is enabled.

Save the modifications, then exit BIOS.

There is no indication of a Realtek LAN controller in Device Manager, Network Connections, or Driver Installer. The error message "not found / deep sleep" verifies that the controller is not initializing. It is enabled in the BIOS, but no detection has occurred. Even with a known-to-be-good cable, the LAN port has no LED activity. The most likely reason is that there is physical damage to the Ethernet controller chip, or Hardware-level firmware corruption, or power delivery. I suggest contacting ASUS hardware support for a possible warranty service.

That certainly sounds like a hardware failure. Short of replacing the motherboard you might consider getting either a PCIE network card or a USB3 to Ethernet adapter.
