Same Folder is opened each time user uploads documents

One of my administration people is reporting an issue with MS Teams.

Each time she uploads a document using teams, it opens up the same folder each time as the source folder. At one time it would remember which folder she previously uploaded from and open that folder. The pain is the folder that it opens up each time now is nested pretty far down in the folder structure and she has to click click click to get to the folder she wants to upload from in the current session.

Last time I attempted to clear her TEAMS cache folder (%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams) but ultimately it still used the same nested folder. I uninstalled TEAMS and reinstalled to fix it. That fix only lasted a day or two.

Anyone else have this issue and has a fix? Please let me know!

    thanks for the suggestion, Igor.

    I opened teams in edge and changed the default upload folder to something more practical and saved it as "my view." And the browser remembers it. When I open the desktop Teams app, it uses "my view" as the default but still opens the same "old" undesirable upload source folder on my PC.

    Have you tried to upload the file from the web version of Teams to check if the behaviour is different?
