Miscrosoft Teams

Question

We are trying to use teams in our environment.  we have tried both the local install per unit and the webapp version.   the local machines are HP 19GB  SSD drive units.   our meetings have about 3-5 people but someone is always locking up during the meeting and its never consistent.   We obviously have other apps running at the same time excel, word outlook normal programs.  

I have read about browsers slowing down and not sure on a local install how to keep a browser running at an optimum level. Of course our Finance Director Guru believes its hardware related but we have no issues with other shared apps like zoom, or skype, internally they want to keep teams active throughout the day so they can IM message each other.  

Is there a configuration, teams is requiring for optimal performance?  Are settings in browsers that should be altered?  It is shedding a bad light on the product and I am trying to find some answers.  Should we run teams from a server platform internally?
