hi,

Is anyone an expert with Microsoft teams voice?

I have set up a voicemail group so if a certain call queue isn't answered, the caller gets routed to voicemail.  i have my own pre-recorded message which i uploaded however after the message, the Microsoft voice adds 'please leave a message after the tone etc...'

Is there any way to remove this extra microsoft voice?  it is kind of a duplicate to my pre-recorded message, and doesnt sound professional!

thanks

    Hello Ss1415,

I totally understand you concerns and requirement. However, I have searched many documents and didn’t find any method to upload a pre-recorded voicemail. It is highly recommended to submit your feedback in the Microsoft Teams UserVoice forum. It’s a good place for customers to share their ideas and requirements. Microsoft always pays high values on customer’s feedback.

Your understanding and cooperation would be highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Rick

    Hello Ss1415,

According to my knowledge, if you don’t record any voicemail message, it will play the default Microsoft voicemail like “please leave a message after the tone, etc...”. If you need to add a custom voicemail message, it’s better to let the individual users record the voicemail by themselves.

    Regards,

    Rick

    Hi Rick,

I appreciate you getting back to me.

Next question, is there any way of each individual having a 'pre recorded' voicemail message if someone dials their line directly and there is no answer?  on the settings i can only see the option of either manually recording a message, or typing one in with the microsoft voice reads.  i want to have a profesional one recorded and saved.  how do i do this?

    thanks!

    Hello Ss1415,

According to my experience and knowledge, it is not feasible to remove this extra voice from the Teams Voicemail, as this a notification to remind the caller to leave a message.

I have searched in the Microsoft Teams UserVoice forum but haven’t found any related feedback. I would like to invite you to submit your feedback in the UserVoice forum for feedback. Microsoft always pays high values on every customer’s voice and ideas. We will keep working to improve the user experience to make our products better.

Your understanding and cooperation would be highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Rick
