microsoft account hell

Question

I'm trying to sign into teams and I keep getting that 'you already have an account'.  I went through and renamed the outlook.com account (one of the suggested fixes) and now it says I don't have an account (great) but when I go to sign in it says that I DO have an account.  I'm in an infinite loop and there appears to be no support options to talk to anyone to get this resolved.

For context we are a small business with paid MSDN enterprise accounts.  I'm wondering if that has something to do with it?

Anyway, I'm at a loss at this point as we want to use teams but there seems to be no way to get into it.

Just to better assist you, could you please clarify if you have an account under the following paid subscriptions? Or if you are trying to sign up for the Free version of Teams?

I showed you that link for you to see the different packages where Teams is included and for you to tell me if you have any of those services with Microsoft.

I do not see "enterprise visual studio" on the above link.

An alternative is to get in touch with the person who told you that Teams will be included on your package.

With our enterprise visual studio account we are supposed to get a free 365 account with admin and 24 users.  

Going to that link only gives me a menu of services I can choose.
