Additional features, settings, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Teams categories
Hi Rob. The Teams desktop app improves the user experience, but now the problem was isolated to the desktop app only.
We continue come near to the problem causes to solve it, please answer me:
- Could you use the second screen previously with Teams desktop app without problem?
- What happen if you clear the cache files?
To delete all cache files, you follow these steps (in Windows):
a. Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client.
b. Go to File Explorer, and (Windows 10) type in
appdata\Microsoft\teams and remove all the content. In Windows 11 you
type AppData\Local\Packages\MicrosoftTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
and remove all the content.
c. You must restart the app and try again.
- You keep in mind that for use the USB-C to HDMI adapter, Microsoft recommends to use the HDMI adapter with a HDMI 2.0 cable or higher.
