Can't upload files to 'assignments' in Teams, can't link documents in Teams to assignments

I am an English teacher trying to link a file to an assignment for my pupils.

This has worked fine in the past.

Now, the file will not link from a documents folder in Teams.

The file will also not be uploaded from my computer to the assignment.

I have tried uploading other files to the assignment to see whether the file is/was corrupted; it isn't.

Nothing is linking to the assignment draft.

Is this a new problem that everyone is experiencing?

Are you working on this?

Here is a picture of my problem:

    Hi AmberNowak,

Sorry for the inconvenience the problem caused for you.

Based on your description, the file can't be uploaded completely to the Teams Assignments. I tested on my side, I can upload files successfully.

To help you better, could you please provide more details for me?

    1. You can try to upload files from Teams Online to check the result.
    2. Does the problem happen on all your Teams group, or the specific group?
    3. Can you upload the files to the SharePoint site related to this group? Go to General channel > click "" on the upper-right corner > click "Open in SharePoint" > go to "Site contents" > Class Files > Assignments > select the problematic assignment > upload file.

Additionally, could you please provide your account for me via Private Message to check the Service Health?

    Appreciate your cooperation in advance.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn

    Hi

    Thank you for your hints.

In Site contents there is no folder Class Files.

EDIT: Found the folder in the trash.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Cheers
