Issues typing into assignment document?

Hi there!

I am using Microsoft Teams for my students as the country has begun distance learning. I really like it and the kids do too, but we are occasionally having an issue with students being able to type into assignments.  The assignments I have posted are Word documents and there are areas they just need to type their answers into. However, some students cannot type into the field. Any idea why? Thanks!

    My students are experiencing the same issue as we are distance learning too. Some of my students said they have to click the three dots near the top right corner of the screen which allows them to edit the document.

    I have no idea why this is happening or why Microsoft changed how students edit documents, but Teams needs to go back to how students edited documents attached to assignments a few weeks ago. It was much easier and way less confusing.
