Create a Team suddenly missing

I am both a global admin and a owner/member of a Teams Creator group that we used to assign teams creation rights.

Suddenly today, I no longer have the option to create a team within the Teams app.  I can still create a team as a Global Admin in Teams admin center.

I've looked for changes in the roadmap, but could find anything that would answer why this has occured.

Any help on this would be apprecaited.

    That sounds like a permissions issue. Checked your groups/policies you belong to? Are you restricting anyone from creating a team, in an Azure group?

    Exact same with web browser.  No option to create, only Join.

    My name is Brian, I'm an Independent Advisor.

    How about creating a team in the browser https://teams.microsoft.com/ ? Same behavior? If not, try clearing the Teams app cache.
