Guests cannot view shared content when re-joining a Teams meeting

We have an issue where a user (guest access in Teams) dropped from the meeting and had to re-join. When he did, he could not view the content being shared on the screen (it was a PowerPoint). The only way to remedy this was to close the PPT and reopen it for the whole group. It happened a few times and I believe only with one user (I was not in the meeting but the presenters shared this problem with me).

    Hi, Jessica,

My name is Didi. I'm happy to help you today.

Sorry to hear about this issue. If I may ask, was there a difference when inviting the user or asking the user to join during the meeting rather than the user joining from the email link or calendar?

Did it also happen in both the desktop and the web version, https://teams.microsoft.com/?

I suggest opening the PowerPoint app before the meeting starts then sharing the window instead of using the PowerPoint live feature when in Teams.

The user could also try clearing the Teams cache using the instructions on the link for their device and see if it helps.
