Using Microsoft Teams for a class

I am using Microsoft Teams as a means to communicate with my class, rather than a Facebook group. I created a survey for the students to fill out using Forms. However, they seem to have editing access to the form and a couple of them have 'messed' up the survey. I don't want them editing the survey, I just want them to answer the questions! Is there a way to do this or should I go back to using SurveyMonkey or Google surveys? Thanks for any help, very frustrated right now.

If you share the form using the Send and Collect Response link, any user that will access that link will not be able to edit it even the creator of the form. I assume that the student are still using the link for editing and collaboration that's why they are able to edit it.

If you want to disable the link to edit the form, you may check on this link and check on the section "Stop sharing a quiz or form":

Thanks for the quick response, I set up the survey as outlined in your articles and it was working fine. After about 18 responses, a student reported she was having difficulty submitting her response. That was followed by another who said the survey was now in 'editing' mode. When I went in to look at it, the survey was allowing editing and a couple of the students had added question boxes, etc. So I don't know what changed.
