Unknown user

When in Teams users are opening a shared excel but there is an Unknown user appearing on the file and know one can figure out who or what this is, is it a glitch of a user that was in the file and has left but is now marked with unknown user ?

Obviously security wise with is quiet concerning "Unknown User accessing files"

    I'm Renzo, I'll help you with your question.

    This message or user "Unknown" appears when the folder or file is shared with the option "Anyone with the link", so I suggest you to verify what permissions has your folder in the SharePoint library.

    If you are the team owner try this > Open teams desktop app > open the team > select the channel > click in Files tab > in top right click in open in SharePoint Online, there, in top right click in the information icon (i) > Manage access > there you can verify what user has permission over the folder related to the team channel, so, you can manage the users permissions.
