HI,

I wanted to know if an admin or a presenter could track, watch and record my desktop screen? Can he or she track background activities during an meeting? Do they track my Microsoft apps and other third party apps such as google chrome? So, for example a student is doing an exam, can an admin know what he or she has opened in the background and what it contains? By the way my account was created by school.

Hello I need help1314,

Based on your description about the Microsoft Teams, as far as I know the Teams admin cannot directly track your desktop or computer background activities.  Generally, Teams admin can only track recorded meeting videos of the **presenter's desktop activity,**others background activities cannot be tracked by the Teams admin, thanks.

Moreover, as you mentioned your account was created by school, as far as I know the computer's backgroupd activities could be tracked by the IT ( for example if your computer connect to school network, your backgroupd activities can be tracked by the network admin of your school), thanks.

Please feel free to share with me if you have any other concerns, thanks.

Best Regards,

Oliver
