Hi,

I have an assignment I have already assigned to students but I need to delete some of the files I have attached. I went to the ellipses but I don't have a delete/remove button and I can't delete it. Is there anyway I can do this?

    Hello, Amanda,

Thank you for the response. The option to remove the assignment appears despite choosing the option "upload from my device". The difference is, when you select 'Student edit their own copy', the option to remove the attached file won't be available.

I attached a screenshot for reference.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Hi Didi,

Yes I meant to say there is no remove button. I only have the options to open the documents. I have tried to use the web version, as you suggested but I get the same thing. I am wondering if it is because, when I attached the files, I chose the option "upload from my device" instead of choosing Teams or Notebook. However in saying this all my files are in my work Teams just not our whole school Teams. :)

    Hi, Amanda,

My name is Didi. I'm happy to help you today.

When you edit the assignment, do you mean there is no remove button for the file you attached? Could you send a screenshot if possible? (Please blur out any personal information.)

I suggest signing in to the web app, https://teams.microsoft.com/ using Chrome or Edge browser, to see if there's any difference.

    Best regards,
