Collaboration Space in Class Notebook

Question

I need help with the "Collaborative Space" in Class Notebook?  I have set up an "Assignment Collaboration" Section in my "Collaborative Space" and added individual pages for each assignment for the students and myself to collaborate on questions that they are having difficulty with.  None of my students can find the "Assignment Collaboration" Section or the "Collaboration Space".  How do I share this with them so that they can all work on common problems together?

I tried to distribute one of the assignment collaboration pages across the Class Notebook into their "Homework" section.  They could see it then but, if one person wrote something on it, only I can see what the student wrote and what I write on their individual page.  It did not get updated to all the other students' pages.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Generally, students can type on the same page at the same time in the collaboration space. Please try to In Class Notebook home page in browser, click Manage notebooks>select the notebook>click Collaboration Space permissions>click +Add section to create a new section, then select the students who can read and edit content>click Create.

Creating a Class Notebook is easy way and it will be done in few steps, you can refer to this article: Create a Class Notebook in OneNote, to create it.

After creating a Class Notebook, you can distribute the pages from old Class Notebook to New Class Notebook by referring this article: Distribute Class Notebook page and sections.

Additionally, we would like to share with you that you can add a new section in the Collaration Space and set the permission for that section. For the detailed steps, please refer to the following article: Give student groups separate permissions in the Collaboration Space.

Meanwhile, could you please confirm where you create a class notebook e.g.  in Microsoft Teams, OneNote 2016 app or OneNote for web.
