Microsoft Teams Pass Code sent does not work

I am trying to log into Microsoft teams. I receive the SMS passcode, but it does not accept the passcode.

I have tried this numerous times with the same failure?

    Thanks for your post on the community forum. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

    Please check if you can see a similar experience in the MS Teams web app to isolate the problem.

    Go to https://teams.live.com on "Teams Web App", use the option "Use the web app instead" to open Teams in a browser (preferably Chrome or Edge) and see the result check. It will help isolate the problem with the desktop app.

    If you are experiencing a similar problem in MS Teams web / mobile app, there is an ongoing problem with the verification code service and users have reported that the verification code is not working.

    There are chances that this issue is due to network congestion or possibly a recent rapid increase in Microsoft service usage that has resulted in system congestion and service degradation.

    As a workaround, You could also update the phone number to Microsoft account,

    Go to https://account.live.com/names/Manage and adding my mobile number as an account alias and try again.

    The follwing way solved my issue:

    "As a workaround, You could also update the phone number to Microsoft account,
    Go to https://account.live.com/names/Manage and adding my mobile number as an account alias and try again."

    If you still see the issue, I'd suggest registering to MS Teams free org version.

    Note: Please choose "For work and organization" when asked, "How do you want to use Teams?" (refer to the screenshot)

    I'd also like to let you know MS Team free organization account offers more features than "MS Team personal life".
