Keep getting the error code 404, when viewing assignments in Teams.

Having set work previously on Teams with no problems, today when my class try to view my PPTs/Word documents, in Teams, they keep getting the error code 404. File or directory not found. The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

When I try to view the work i've set, I also get the same error code. I've set the work using documents from my computer and in the same way that i've used for weeks.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I had the same issue. I have clicked on the three dots near the attached file and open onenote online. From there I could view the file.

    Hi MrD.King,

I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

To look further, please help me with some additional input as per your convenience:

    1. Have you changed the document name after uploading the work in the assignment?
    2. Please go to class general channel > Files > Open in SharePoint > From the left menu panel > click on Site contents > Assignments > Class files > Assignments

please choose your assignment and check if you find the work resource here

I'd suggest removing the old document, upload it again and send the assignment again.

    Regards

    Nik
