Delegates in TEAMS

As in MS Outlook, I am a delegate for my Manager and can view their email, respond for them when they're in a meeting or out of the office. I can add/remove items to their calendar and contacts. Does TEAMS have the feature to allow for a delegate to monitor someone's incoming chats or team posts? If so, is there a way to return them to the unread status, as I can in Outlook, so the Manager can see the new items when they are back in the office or out of their meeting?

    Hi MobileMel2010,

My name is Didi. I'm happy to help you today.

Teams has a 'delegate' feature. However, it only applies to calling such as making and receiving calls on our behalf.

You may check out the linked article for more information:

I also recommend submitting a request for this feature at https://aka.ms/TeamsFeedback or from the Teams app > Help > Suggest a feature.

    Best regards,
