Class Notebook- set image as background

I am using Class Notebook with my class this year. I heard that you can set an image or pdf as a background so it doesn't accidentally get deleted. Someone told me I can either right click on the image to do it or there is now a tab at the top for it. Well when I right click on it, I do not get that option. Also, I do not see any tab at the top with the option. Where can I find this feature? Do I have to update? If so, how do I update? I am using the web browser version. I also looked on the app version but didn't see it either.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Nicole,

Actually, setting image as background is not directly applied to the class notebook, but only in the OneNote desktop app.

Within OneNote 2016 or OneNote for Windows 10, after inserting a picture, you can click the “set picture as background” button by right-clicking the picture to set it as background.

OneNote 2016:

OneNote for Windows 10:

And you can also set this setting in other notebooks in addition to class notebooks.

Best regards,

Madoc
