Join Button Not Working

This happens on my desktop app. When I click the Join button for the first time after launching the app, a blank window flashes then disappears. After that, my Join button simply doesn't work when I click on it at all. This started to happen after I joined a meeting once using the mobile app. I've tried restarting my laptop and reinstalling the app, but it doesn't help. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hi Vy,

    Thanks for reaching out! I’m RegieS an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Teams user like you.

    On your desktop follow steps below to clear Teams cache.

    1. Quit Microsoft Teams. Right-click the icon and select Quit.
    2. Cut and paste %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams into File Explorer.
    3. Delete the contents of the entire folder.
    4. Restart Microsoft Teams.

    can you also check your experience using the Web APP for Teams,

    Dear Sir/Madam

    When I open the teams through office 365 login then only I am able to see the join now button to MS teams. If I open the APP directly from out side by clicking on the short cut, the join now button is never active 

    Kindly help me out. I have followed the step %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and have deleted  and restarted however the same thing is repeated.
