Sub groups in Teams

I would like to have a year group team which I can then set sub-groups as separate classes. Is this possible?

Dear Miss,

You can create a class team and then create channels inside, each channel will have a lot of functionalities, so, you can separate it in classes, I mean, each channel could be a class.
