Please i need your help on this issue.
MS Teams screen sharing lags during meetings with multiple participants. This seems to be unique to MS Teams as other application are functioning fine.
This also appears to be specific to the desktop app.
The users have tried deleting temp folders and reinstalling the app, but the problem continues.
The users have experimented with the web app for Teams and they do not encounter this issue.
We have been having this issue for several months. It started out intermittently at first, but has now become more common.
It is very common in meeting with more than 4 participants. The voice quality is not effected, only the screen sharing.
The screen lagging issue is only effecting the users in out office network.

This may be due to network issues. You may try to check the Teams bandwidth requirement.

Yes, We found the same issue with you while Screen sharing lags during meetings with multiple participants but Not for all in the same network, Voice quality is not affected, It doesn't have the problem with someone who is in out office network.
we don't have any issues with our bandwidth, and no idea to fix the issue.

Any updates or fixes with this problem? My workplace has been trying to address Teams sharing/lag issues for the past year without success. Very frustrating!
I don't think this is a bandwidth issue either.
As software developers we often share our screens when writing corrections to code.
Building a large application is so much slower when sharing a screen even with just one other person.
It makes little difference whether they are located in the same town or in a different country halfway round the world.
Visual Studio is also memory hungry but even so I still have 40-50% memory free.
If we want to build, we have to turn off sharing while building and reenable sharing when ready.
This is not merely a lag in the time it takes for a change on a presenter's machine to be shown on another's machine. It actually slows down the processing of the presenter's machine and not because of maxing out CPU or Memory.
This is consistent, the same every day. We have fast broadband connections.
Any response to this Microsoft? We are seeing the same issue with a user on our Standard build now also. Exact same issue. Voice not affected at all and is crystal clear. Desktop sharing is about 10-15 seconds delayed. 65 people on a Teams call.
