Controlling settings, permissions, and membership within Teams and channels
Yes, here is my colleague's team/channel heading, where there is a 'Notes' tab.

Hi. I am a member of a team and a channel within that team. Other members of this group have at the top of their page (next to the channel title) links to 'Posts' and 'Files' and 'Notes' ... however, I am missing the 'Notes' link. Is this a permission setting? One of the group members was able to share the notes file with me via email, but I'd like to be able to access it from within MS Teams. Thanks for your help!

If you can manage to get the screenshot of your colleague's Teams showing that section that would be be the best.
Edit - This must be one of the apps which is renamed. You can right click on any tab and rename it.
Hi, thanks for responding. When I click + to add a tab, then select OneNote, it asks me to name the tab and then I have the option of posting to the channel. But what I am looking for is access to the notes a colleague has already created. He and others see a 'Notes' tab to the right of 'Posts' and 'Files' and when they click on it, they can then choose one of several notes. I am missing the 'Notes' tab. Thoughts?
Hello Sarah
I am V. Arya, Independent Advisor, to work with you on this issue. Is it Onenote tab which is appearing there? If yes, then you can press +, search for Onenote and add it as a tab.
