PROBLEM IN MICROSOFT TEAMS

Hi, I am Hardik from India.My MICROSOFT TEAMS APP takes hell of a time to load now .Please suggest me a method to  correct it. Thanks

Hello Hardik Goyal,

Greetings. About your problem, it is recommended that you may try to clear the Teams desktop caches to see if this will make any improvement:

  • If you are using Teams for Mac:
  1. Quit Microsoft Teams.
  2. Delete files in following folders.

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Application Cache/Cache”

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/blob_storage”

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Cache”

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/databases”

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/GPUCache”

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/IndexedDB”

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/Local Storage”

“~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/tmp”

  1. Restart Microsoft Teams.
  • If you are using Teams on Windows PC:

Please go to File Explorer and type %appdata%\Microsoft\teams. Then delete the following files. As a side note, you can move the files to another place to avoid the data loss.

a. In Application Cache > Cache folder, delete all files in it.

b. In Blob_storage folder, delete all files.

c. In Cache folder, delete all files.

d. In databases folder, delete all files.

e. In GPUCache folder, delete all files.

f. In IndexedDB folder, delete the .db file.

g. In Local Storage folder, delete all files.

h. In tmp folder, delete all files.

In the meantime, to narrow down this issue, please also all other programs and only run Microsoft Teams on your computer to check if there is the same result.
