I am looking for an app in MS Teams that emulates a whiteboard to track our weekly sales numbers.  I would be inputting data in while having headers and columns with stagnant information.  It would need to look something like the example below:

Name Week One Week Two Total
Suzy Q $200 $250 $450
Tina G $500 $1000 $1,500

Hi Tina, to add tabs in your channel, kindly follow below.

    1. Return to your team, choose the channel where you would like to display the tab.
    2. Select the :heavy_plus_sign: from the tab bar, and choose your tab from the gallery (in this case choose Excel).
    3. Choose what the tab will point to, and give the tab a name.
    4. Select Save and your tab will be added to the channel's tab bar.

Note that the Excel file must be uploaded to the Files tab first before you can convert it to a tab. Also below is an article about tab customization for your reference.

Thank you and have a great day!

Hello.  Thank you for this advice, I've downloaded Power BI and it looks like I have a license through my company.

Can you also send a link on how to pop Excel into a tab in Teams?  I know how to add a file but haven't seen how to move it to a tab.

    Thank you!

Hi Tina, thank you for your follow up message. If it is something like a sales leaderboard app that you can add as tab within Teams, I think there's none existing as of the moment. But if you have Power BI, you can have an excel sheet that you load your data and then you can create a really nice dashboard for your leaderboard. You can also check Power BI from this link as this is a good analytics tool to use. Microsoft has free trial for this.

If you don't have Power BI license, maybe you could just use Excel and pop that on a tab in Teams. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi, I'm not looking for the WhiteBoard to draw on.  I'm looking for an App to add some kind of WhiteBoard in a Team/Channel/Tab.  When we are in the office, we have boards that we line with black tape and continue to add data to throughout the month/year.

    Is there anything like that?
