File save dates

In microsoft teams I have noticed that the save date and time is US based.

For example I save something at 7.30 am in the UK and it shows "yesterday" 23.30.

I have everything synced with one drive and it shows me the UK time.  All language and dates are in UK.

It would be best if the saved time was in the timezone of the person viewing the list of files.  So for example if I saved at 7.30am UK time and a colleague was looking at this is Europe then it would say 8.30am.

Is there any way for the files section to show the local time and date for the last save of the file?

Under settings in teams

Language - English UK

Keyboard - English (US)

I have the correct time when I look in OneDrive at the synced files

Regards,

Andrew

    Finally found the issue.......................

As files are saved on sharepoint you need to set on sharepoint the site settings and timezone.  Seems silly as it should be related to the time zone where people are and not the sharepoint site settings

Leave it a few minutes - maybe 1/2 hour or so and it will show the time and date it was saved.

The date and time is fine in every other in Teams but not in teams files tab.  When I saved this it was 15.25 UK time yesterday if I remember rightly

    Hello Andrew Tokely,

Based on your post, we had check the Files tab under Teams and found that Files modified will only show “Date” or “xx minutes ago” status, we are not able to find “time (such as 7.30am or 8.30am)” under modified information. So could you please kindly provide us screenshot about your Files –date and time information, so we can check at our end and helps you to assist further.

    Many thanks for co-operation.

    Thanks and regards,

    Ankita Vaidya
