Hi everyone, I'm new to Microsoft answers but I can't seem to find an answer so this seems to be the best place to come. I installed Windows through Parallels Desktop 16 on my M1 Mac a few weeks ago. I installed office but when I installed teams I kept on getting a JavaScript error. Here is the error below.

After each unsuccessful attempt, I deleted the installer from my downloads folder and tried again but it never worked. Do you have any suggestions on what to do? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello Shrey_101,

According to your description, if your problem happens when trying to use Teams on Windows Virtual desktop, I'd like to recommend that you may take a look at the following article to check if the Window virtual desktop meet the requirements: Use Microsoft Teams on Windows Virtual desktop

Moreover, from the error message, you can navigate to the folder location C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\current\resources\app.asar.unpacked\node_modules\native-utils\build\Releaseto check if there is a folder named Teams. If not, please manually create a Teams folder and then try again to check the result.

Besides, if you are encountering this issue when installing Teams on your Mac, there is a post with the similar error as yours and many other community members can resolve this issue by the steps provided by MihailSes, you may also follow the steps to check whether it can help you with your problem:

    Hello again,

Thanks for your response, but when I go to Users then I click on my name, there is no option for library or application support or app data. I have checked all the requirements and my computer meets all of them but I still get a javascript error when I try to install teams. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like when I click on users:

    Thanks for your help.
