Teams login errors with Ubuntu client

I have Teams installed on my primary Ubuntu desktop and am unable to login. I worked for a company that was using MS Azure SSO and Authenticator and was recently fired. When I open Teams, it defaults to that login, and their branded landing screen. If I choose the option to Sign in with another account and use my Gmail address, I get the error below before even being prompted for a password....

Request Id: 182f530b-8754-4764-b6c4-9d9e70fd0502

Correlation Id: f8d0a2a6-1a8b-4e6f-97e0-d0bd84a04135

Timestamp: 2021-07-06T04:09:24Z

Message: AADSTS900144: The request body must contain the following parameter: 'code'.

Any idea how to completely clear out the Teams files on Ubuntu, or resolve this issue?

"I think I just need to delete all of the local files that were installed on the Ubuntu machine and delete the app to get things working again. It works fine from my cellphone and iPad. If I try to join a meeting from the browser it seems to work. It is only the Ubuntu app that causes issues"

Please refer to this article on how to reset the MS Team app by clearing the cache files: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1257898/reset-m...;

When I try that step, I get an option to login with this account which is not my personal account or prior work account.... ******@braunerstevegmailcom.onmicrosoft.com

If I use my old work account, it tells me that my account is locked and refers me to contact the help desk at my old office, but obviously that account is locked by design.

I suspect your account is still registered as a member of the previous organization if that the case you need to leave the previous organization first.

Please refer to step E in the following article on how to leave an organization you are part of via the active directory: https://tech4us.medium.com/how-to-access-your-o...

Please note it may take up to 72 hours to take an effect if you made a change in the active directory.

The teams.microsoft.com link works fine, but that will not correct the issue with login on the Teams App... I recently accepted a position with a new company that uses teams, I am unable to sign in with my new corporate login because the app is defaulting back to my old company's configuration.

How can I completely uninstall Teams, the configuration files along with any of the old Azure AD and Microsoft Authenticator files from my Ubuntu machine?

    Hi

My name is Daniel. I am an Independent Advisor.

There are different kinds of MS Team free, I suspect you are trying to log into MS Team free personal life account via MS Teams desktop app which is not yet available to all users (at least as of today).

Please visit the following links one by one:

Also, I'd like to let you know only Google Chrome or Edge are officially recommended browsers as of today.

Please let me know which of the links above you can successfully log into?
