Attentive button

Good morning.

Upon speaking to a colleague, it seems that there is an 'attentive button' on Microsoft Teams.  However, this colleague could not explain how to access it.  It seems that through this function, the teacher will be made aware/notified that students are not in front of the screen during lessons -  when they have teams open but students leave the lesson.

Thank you.

    Dear Silvana,

Many thanks for your reply. According to your description, I tried to test if I will see the Attentive button when a user leave the team meeting but failed to access such kind of button.

However, when a user leave the meeting, there will be a word "Leaving" under this user's profile picture, for your reference:

But speaking back to the Attentive button you mentioned, since we do n’t have any more information about this button, we may not be able to provide further target suggestions regard it.

While, if you or your colleague see the button again, please take a screenshot of the button to us. At the same time, it would be very grateful if you can share some information about how you access this button, I will glad and continue to try my best to help you.

We highly appreciate your kindly understanding for this.

    Best regards,

    Jennifer

    Dear Jennifer,

To be honest, I do not have a screen shot of this button.  If you are saying that you do not know of this setting, it could be that my colleague did not explain well the setting she was using.  From what I understood, this is a setting that allows teachers to know when students leave their laptop.  If such a setting exists, it would be great because, at the moment, if students have their video off, it still might be that they leave the teams on, but they might not necessarily be following the lessons.

Thank you for your prompt attention to my query.

    Regards,

    Silvana
