Teams bot using Bot Framework. Dropdown causes issue after teams update

Morning MS,

A few weeks / months ago when we showed this Dynamic card bult using C#, this "X" was never there. Users had to choose an option from the dropdown. Now what happens, they can click on this X and it clears their choice. I am not sure if this is a Teams feature that was introduced or a bot framework issue, but when we go to https://adaptivecards.io/designer/ and pick the teams channel, we don't see this "X" when we build a card using a dropdown.

we are using

AdaptiveSchemaVersion 1.4 and we build up an AdaptiveChoice set using (Assembly AdaptiveCards, Version=2.7.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35)

We would like to know how to switch this off please.
