I am having trouble installing and running the MS Teams Free Desktop version.

I can use the app via the mobile but for the desktop I keep getting the following error message when I try to activate.

I've uninstalled and re-installed the download for the desktop but get the same every time.  Any ideas welcome on how I fix this.

error message.

You can right click on chrome icon in taskbar and select “incognito” browsing. Chrome incognito mode doesn’t save your browsing history, cookies and site data, or information entered in forms, which helps to avoid any conflict with cookies related.

    Hi Nik

I have tried the desktop version and encountered these problems.  I did use the web version and was able to make a call and set up a meeting, but not then to access the meeting myself (via outlook).

Could you just explain the suggestion regarding Chrome and Incognitio as I'm not sure I am clear on that.

    thanks

    Hi PL2468,

May I know whether this issue happen on using both Teams web client and Teams desktop client?

If you are using Teams desktop app, please try to use the Teams web client (https://teams.microsoft.com) via Incognito/InPrivate browsing window with latest Chrome/Edge Chromium to check this issue.

To look further, could you please let me know device and operating system build version?

    Regards
    Nik
