Hello;

I'm considering buying tablets for students in a school so that Microsoft Teams will be installed on it and they can use it for live meetings (classes) between them and their instructors. I did not find any information related to minimum specs needed for tablets to run Microsoft Teams smoothly and for the video group meeting to function smoothly too except this page which does not say much about requirements on mobiles and tablets.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/hardware-requirements-for-the-teams-app

For example, minimum RAM needed for the tablet? Minimum storage needed for the tablet? Minimum Wifi requirements for the tablet? Processor(Dual core or Quad core?). Could anybody help is this?

Thanks a lot

You can check that information on play store or app store for both IOS and Android. The only requirements needed in iOS operating system version 10.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch and Android operating system version 4.4 or later, and it comes with the specs.

    Thanks Rodell for your reply. However, I was referring to tablets that use Android and iOS operating systems. They come in different specs regarding RAM and storage and processor. I did not find any information in Microsoft website referring to the preferred specs for mobile users except the web page I listed in my question that only mentions the versions of Android and IOS.

    I'm Rodell, Independent Advisor and a Microsoft User like you. Let me help you out with your concern.

    If you're referring to (Surface Pro) Tablet, originally Teams only released for desktop, also available on iOS and Android mobile devices;
