Using "Task" Outside Channel Teams

Question

Hi, I would love to use "Tasks by Planner and To Do" but somehow there is this restriction in my company to create new teams, hence it's kind of inconvenience to use "Tasks by Planner and To Do" where all of my organization will be notified any updated task on what my division is doing and being done in the channel.

Is there any apps like "Tasks by Planner and To Do" where we can divided job to steps and list to do and also assign name on every steps for "Group Chat" or maybe "Meeting Chat"? Since my division consists not more than 9 people, "Group Chat" will be the right tools for us to communicate and make planner and to do list.

Greetings. Regarding your concerns, if your company doesn't allow to create new teams, since the ”Tasks by Planner and To Do" APP doesn't available in Teams group chat as well as in the free version of Teams, we recommend you may directly use the Planner APP or the To Do APP to collaborate with your division members.
